Aadhaar Card Download from UIDAI Website
Step 1: Visit the Official Website
First go to UIDAI's official website https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/.

Step 5: OTP Verification
Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number and verify.
Step 6: Complete Download
After verification, click the Submit button. A "Congratulations" message will appear on your screen and the Aadhaar card will be downloaded on your device.
Important Note
To view the downloaded Aadhaar card PDF, you need to enter an
8-character password. This password is a combination of the
first 4 letters of your name (in capital) and your birth year
(YYYY format).
Example: If name is RAVI and date of birth is
01/01/1999, then password will be:
RAVI1999
Download Aadhaar using Enrollment ID (EID)
Note
If your Aadhaar card has already been issued or you have registered for Aadhaar and received an Enrollment ID (EID) number, but you have not yet received the physical Aadhaar card, then you can download your e-Aadhaar card using the Enrollment ID (EID) number.
Step 1: Visit the Official Website
First go to UIDAI's official website https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/.

After this, you have to select the Enrollment ID Number option.

Aadhaar Download using Virtual ID
Note
If you have previously applied for an Aadhaar card and have forgotten your Aadhaar number and enrollment number, then you can your e-Aadhaar card download using the Virtual ID number you received.

Note
If you have forgotten your Aadhaar number or Enrollment ID, you can retrieve your EID/Aadhaar number by entering your 'name, mobile number or email' and then your Aadhaar card download using this Aadhaar number or Enrollment ID.
Aadhaar Card Download from DigiLocker
Step 1: Visit the Official Website
To Aadhaar card Download from DigiLocker, first visit the official website digilocker.gov.in.

Log in using your credentials. If you do not have an account yet, create a new account using your mobile number and email.
Step 3: Search Documents
After the new account is created, click on the 'Search Documents' option.
Step 4: Select Aadhaar Card

Step 5: Enter Aadhaar Number and OTP
To download your Aadhaar card, you need to enter your Aadhaar number and your registered mobile number and verify with the received OTP.

Click on the "Download" icon. After clicking this, you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter that OTP and submit. Your Aadhaar card will be downloaded.
Aadhaar Card Download from UMANG Portal
Step 1: Visit the Official Website
To Aadhaar card Download through UMANG portal, first visit the official website of UMANG portal – web.umang.gov.in.

If you are not already registered, first you need to register yourself on this portal and log in.
Step 3: Select 'My Aadhaar' Option
After logging in, on the homepage, click on the "My Aadhaar" option in the "Aadhaar" or "Documents" section.

After this, many options will appear in front of you. You have to click on the 'Download Aadhaar' option as shown in the screenshot.
Step 5: Verification Process
After this, a new page will open. You have to click to proceed with the verification process to download the Aadhaar card.
Step 6: Enter Aadhaar Number and OTP
After this, you will come to a new page where you have to enter your Aadhaar number and registered mobile number, click on send OTP, and verify by entering the received OTP.
Step 7: Download Aadhaar Card
After the verification process is complete, you have to click on the "Verify & Download" button. In this way, your e-Aadhaar card will be downloaded on your device in PDF format.
Aadhaar Download from mAadhaar Mobile App
Step 1: Install mAadhaar App
To Aadhaar card download through mAadhaar app, first search for mAadhaar app in the Play Store search box. An app like the screenshot shown below will appear on your screen. You need to download and install that application.

Step 2: Register in the App
To open the installed application, you have to click on the "Register Aadhaar" tab and give some necessary permissions on your mobile.
Step 3: Set Pin/Password
After this, you have to set a 4-digit pin/password (remember it, because it is required for profile access). Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number and captcha code. You have to verify with OTP. After this, you have to register with your phone number.
Step 4: Download Aadhaar
In that app, to download your Aadhaar card, you have to go to the My Aadhaar section on the main dashboard. After this, you have to click on the 'Download Aadhaar' option.
Step 5: OTP Verification
After this, you have to enter your Aadhaar number/VID/EID and verify through OTP. An SMS with an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
Step 6: Get e-Aadhaar
After this, your e-Aadhaar card will be downloaded as a digitally signed and password-protected electronic copy.
Step 7: Open Downloaded PDF with Password
Password Format: The Aadhaar card password
is the first 4 letters of your name (in caps) + your birth
year (YYYY).
Example: If your (Name: RAJU, Date of
Birth: 1990) then your password will be
"RAJU1990".

Step 1: Visit the Official Website
To generate Virtual ID, first visit the official UIDAI website https://uidai.gov.in/.

After this, in that form, you have to enter your Aadhaar number and also enter the captcha code. And click on Send OTP button.
Step 5: OTP Verification
After this, you will receive an OTP on your mobile number. Enter the received OTP and submit. In this way, your VID will be displayed on the screen.

Once you have your Virtual ID number, download your Aadhaar Card by following the steps given below.
Generate Enrollment Number
Step 1: Visit the Official Website
To get Enrollment ID number, first visit the official UIDAI website https://uidai.gov.in/.
Forgotten EID/UID portalStep 2: Select Menu
On that official website, you will see an option called "My Aadhaar". Clicking on this option will open a popup. In that popup, you have to click on the "Retrieve Lost or Forgotten EID/UID" option as shown in the screenshot.

After this, a new page will open in front of you. You will see whether you want to retrieve your Aadhaar number or retrieve your EID number. Tick as per your requirement.
